Well, after running around all day I ended up with almost all the parts needed for my car, and the oxygen monitor to put on Jakob tonight while he sleeps, so even though I didn’t make it in to work, I still feel quite productive. Plus driving Yannick’s car didn’t suck nearly as much as I’d thought it would.
Here’s a quick sneak peak at my next Knit Picks design:

Yes, I'm cheating on my love- intarsia- with its cousin: duplicate stitch. And i don't feel guilty at all! I got a decent amount done tonight once the kids were in bed. I'm calling it a night early, though, 'cus a migraine is brewing and I'd like to fall asleep before it comes on.

Nice!
And I think that dup stitch looks much better (and makes the knitting easier for this pattern). Good call. Is the black doubled in the pic, or single?
Did you tell Yannick that driving his car doesn’t suck? 🙂

How come Jakob needs to wear an oxygen monitor to sleep? Hope everything is okay?
Shhh – I hate driving Jamie’s car. It’s 6 speed, and I always feel like I’ll screw up his car (my EL was 5 speed). (Standard).
I think you mentioned what this item was for KP – but now I’m having complete pregnancy brain…! Can’t wait to see what it is!

Ditto to Robyn’s question: oxygen monitor?

Your duplicate stitch looks so neat! The last time I did it on cotton and I wasn’t thrilled with the result. I wonder if it was the yarn or me?
