Nope that’s not a typo. Lasting longer than most celebrity marriages, today this blog is exactly 20 years old.

While my posts the last 18 months have been sporadic – due mostly to big changes in my career requiring more of my time and focus – I could not let this milestone go unmarked. (Also having an excuse to push myself back into blogging more regularly is absolutely a good thing). Therefore I’ve decided to give myself a challenge for this 20th year, and it’s one ripped directly from my own archives.

Therefore, in the spirit of the 19 WIP to FO for 2019 Challenge, I’m launching what I’m going to call my Hindsight 20-20 Challenge. Over the 20th year of this blog (from Sept 7 2024 to Sept 6 2025) I will complete 20 outstanding WIPs. The catch? They can’t just be any project kicking around in a forgotten corner of my craft spaces. They all have to have been shown (or at least mentioned) here on the blog – hence “Hindsight”.

I’ve almost finished choosing the list of 20, so those will come in my next post. For now I’m going to celebrate by having a personal try-not-to-cringe challenge while rereading my very first post.
